It’s been about 3 weeks since my Advocare 24 day challenge. I went up a few pounds to 151 and decided I needed to do the 24 day challenge one more time in order to loose the rest of my baby weight. I have been eating so good these last few weeks but have realized I am not eating enough and my body is in starvation mode so I have lost a little weight but 2 pounds in 3 weeks isn’t cutting it.
I started the 24 day challenge on saturday and started it off by running a 5K. Great idea right?! During these 24 days I plan to actually work out this time because I know the weight will come off faster and I won’t be flabby when all the weight is gone.
I keep hearing how much everyone loves Yoga so I decided to give it a try. I was sent Julie Schoen’s Yoga Sweat and if you think Yoga is just a bunch of funny poses you are wrong! It is a excellent workout! This DVD is great for beginners like me who have either not liked yoga in the past or are just starting to work out.
The main goal over these next 24 days is to of course loose weight but I also want to be able to walk up the stairs without getting out of breath, loose inches, tone up and feel better. i already feel better after doing this yoga and running a little. I love that this DVD targets spots like Legs, Glutes, Arms, Back, And Core because all those spots need some work on me!
I will post back next week on my week 1 weight loss results. I hope to be down to 145. I am going to keep practicing on my Yoga and think it will really aid in my weight loss.
