4th of July Fruit dip
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Fruit to dip in dip.
  1. Beat cream cheese, powered sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Fold in whipped cream.

I totally forgot about this recipe until Good Cook sent me this brand new Pro FRESHionals cut fruit bowl and asked me to come up with a recipe to go along with the bowl. I remember making this years ago and honestly eating an entire bowl of it, so I dig up my old cookbook and found this!

It’s so easy to make….in fact I just got back from a wedding shower and made this for the shower. But if your having a 4th of july bash, this is a must make! You can do everything ahead of time except cut the bananas. Cut up your watermelon and blueberries. I put my blueberries in a little baggy so they wouldn’t be hard to find. Whip up your  fruit dip, but make sure to but up your bananas right before it’s time to eat so they won’t turn brown!

What makes this bowl so amazing, is not only is it super cute and actually looks like a watermelon but it has a nice lid so if you need to transport your fruit and it keeps your fruit fresher, longer since it keeps the cut up from away from any juice the fruit might make.

Fresh fruit is now in season so take advantage and get this bowl for yourself from Bed, Bath and Beyond to keep your fruit fresh and delicious for longer.
