Our family is complete with 4 children and thanks to my husband, there is no going back 😉
Growing up I was always in shape and have a naturally skinny frame. When I got married I put on a few pounds but was always in the 130-135 pound range and wore a size 6. I am a former personal trainer and have always enjoyed eating healthy…not dieting but eating healthy. But after 4 kids and a terrible 4th pregnancy, I was over-weight and depressed. Not about life but about my body. For the last year I have been working super hard to get back in shape!
This week I ran over to Dick’s Sporting Goods and found the Intel SMS Audio BioSport Earbuds to jump-start my weight-loss again. Since Christmas I have been on an undetermined fitness break but I am ready to come back. I found the ear buds at Dick’s and they were easy to find and with all the other headphones in a case.
After having 4 kids, they completely wrecked my body! 2015 is my year to get my body back. I am more than aware that things might never go back to the way they used to be and I am ok with that. Right now I weigh 130 pounds and I lost 70 pounds but strictly dieting with an active lifestyle. I HATE it when people say you can lose weight by not exercising because you can but you will have no muscle tone and my saddlebags are pure proof. Every single day while dieting I tried to do something active with the kids. It never involved going to a gym so I wasn’t technically “working out” but I burned calories by taking a walk to the park, or running up our stairs while the kids were napping.
You see I have not had access to a gym and with a newborn and 3 other active kids, working out was the last thing on my mind. I knew the thing I could control was eating right so I cut out sugar, carbs, breads and anything high calorie. These are my before and after pictures! I am extremely proud of my progress so far but I want to push it even farther!
The first picture is about a 1 hour before I gave birth to our 4th child. I was the heaviest I had ever been. I weighed at least 200 pounds but I quit looking at the scale after I made it to that milestone. The second picture is about 135 pounds. I actually put on a swimsuit to go swim with my kids. That in and of itself was a accomplishment.
With the Intel SMS Audio BioSport Earbuds I am ready to start consistently working out. I know that is the missing link to getting my body back 100%. There are areas that will not budge unless I really burn some calories.
Here is my new routine. Once I drop my boys off at school, I get to put my new uniform on! Here is the thing, I still do not go to a gym…I make my home a gym. The old owners of our new house left a home gym when they left so SCORE! Then I have a literal mountain in my background that I run up and down. Using the Intel SMS Audio BioSport Earbuds make my workouts bearable because I am not one of those people who love to work out. I DON’T! I need good music and good motivation.
BioSport’s fitness-monitoring biometrics technology measures your heart rate with a built-in optical sensor, has premier sound quality, includes an integrated charging system and will sync with the RunKeeper App. I downloaded this app on my iPhone and love it! It takes all the guesswork out of working out.
Plus my readers can get 20% off SMS BioSport Headphones on SMSAudio.com. Use coupon code: BioSport20, it is for the US only. Expiration date: 1/31/15.

What I loved about these ear buds was how easy they were to use right out of the box!
All you do it take them out of the box and plug them into your favorite music player whether it’s in your car or on your smart phone!
I have 5 top tips to help you lose weight right now! Think of it like this, no fad diet or magic product will make you lose the weight, just good ole eating right and excercise with some good music for motivation sprinkled in will do the trick.
Step1: Cut out sugar, carbs and high fats. Remember this is temporary so put down your favorite pie and cut down the sweets and breads.
Step 2: Give yourself a timeline. If you cheat 1 day, that will cause you to not lose weight for that whole day so if you eat a sleeve of cookies but otherwise ate well, you will have wasted that day. I like to eat well all week and have a normal eating day on Sundays.
Step 3: Downland some good music. Nothing will make you work out harder than some good tunes.
Step 4: Watch the weight fall off!
It will not happen overnight but let me tell you, with a little self-control and an active lifestyle you can do it!
