My husband and I have been married for almost 10 years and getting each other chocolate and teddy bears is so year #2. Now I appreciate my husband making reservations for somewhere nice for us to eat out.
I mean I cook 3 meals a day, EVERYDAY. I like for once in a while for someone to cook for me and I don’t have to clean up the dishes.
Here’s a list of my Top 10 Places in Denver you need to make reservations at for Valentine’s Day! If your wanting to eat out on Feb. 14th you need to make reservations TODAY! But sometimes we go a day before or after so it’s not so crowded.
This is a restaurant featured on Diners Drive in’s and Dive and one of my husband and my favorite places to eat in Denver! It was an old motorcycle garage converted into a super trendy place to eat. It has a hipster vibe and yummy food. Try the meatloaf…it’s amazing!
My girlfriends and I tried this place out recently and it was so good! It has a small town vibe with big town food flavors. It’s a smaller place so you definitely want to make reservations.
Best BBQ in Denver if I do say so myself! Seriously, good BBQ but their other foods are just as stellar. Fun atmosphere in the little town of Louisville.
We went to The Fort for a rehearsal dinner and it blew me away! The view is incredible and the food is amazing! The Elk meatballs and Buffalo Filet Mignon are making me hungry right now!
5. Root Down
I have to be honest, we have never eaten here but all my friends rave about it…seriously rave!
My husband took me here last year for our anniversary. I cannot wait to go back. The food, and the atmosphere was incredible. The place is decorated like you’re in the middle of an aspen grove. You must go, end of story. I think this place has the most romantic atmosphere on the list.
This place has a more fun, go with your friends type of vibe. So grab a few of your coupled up friends and your significant other and hit up this place. It was a former food truck that did so well they opened a restaurant. The cheese dip is fresh and everything is made right in front of your including homemade chips.
If you’re looking to go eat breakfast, this is the place. I am from the south so biscuits are a food group to us but this place has taken them up a level. The best biscuit I have ever had.
9. D Bar
If your looking for a dessert place this is your place. It’s next to Steuben’s and close to downtown. Food Network chef Keegan Gerhard owns it so you know it’s got to be good.
If your looking to head out of town and want to get out of the city, check out this little gem in Estes Park. They made me the best Bison hamburger I have ever eaten.
