*I received a Touch Brewing system free of charge but all opinions are my own.
My husband made me this amazing wine barrel table a few months ago and I have been trying to find the perfect thing to go on top of it since it mostly just catches grocery bags and my purse. I decided to make this table into our coffee corner since it’s a little off the kitchen so I don’t get bombarded from coffee seeking guests when I am cooking and it’s easily accessible.
To complete the coffee corner, I added the Touch single serve coffee brewer along with some of Touch’s XBold single serve cups. They are larger than traditional K-Cups, allowing more coffee grounds. And who doesn’t want to get all they can out of their cup of coffee??
This brewer is ready to start brewing in under 20 seconds even after being off all night! My husband brews a cup of coffee every morning but we have a large coffee maker so he brews a whole pot just for himself so I am excited that now he can just brew one cup at a time.
It has a removable 90-ounce water tank which is a greater capacity and is shorter in height than its counterparts, meaning you refill this less often. The water tank is removable so it’s easy to take it over to the sink to refill it or you can get a cup of water and refill it if you want.
There is a lot of things I can make or bake but one thing I have never learned to make it a cup of coffee! Since I was trying this out without my husband, I was hoping I could figure it out but it comes with step my step no fail instructions. I like to think I am tech savvy but I need instructions that are easy to read because I normally get distracted at least 10 times by one of my 4 kids.
I had this system set up and ready to go in about 5 minutes!
I know we have used other brand of coffee brewers just like the Touch model in the past and I KNOW you and me both have reused some of the K-cups because you can see not all the coffee was extracted when the cup was brewed. Other machines shoot water through the coffee grounds too quickly and that’s why you are wasting coffee because you are not using all the coffee that are in the cups.
The hot water in the Touch system has more contact with the cups so more coffee is used and not wasted. How about that??!
Touch makes its own brand of coffee cups for their brewer called LA Coffee. It is supposed to be released next month on TouchBrew.com so keep can eye out for it!
