We were provided complimentary adventure park passes.
Since we moved to Colorado 5 years ago, we made a plan to travel around the state and see what all it offers. Our first stop this year was Durango, Colorado. My family and I visited Durango when I was younger but I don’t remember it to well so I was excited to go back! On one of the days we decided to visit the adventure park at Purgatory which is the local ski resort. It’s not to far out-of-town and the scenery is gorgeous.
You can do individual activities or opt for the total adventure ticket which is what I would recommend. If your staying the day, it will be cheaper to buy the total adventure ticket and do all the activities.
We started with the ropes course and the boys loved it! I am glad my 2nd youngest went with my older nephew because he was able to help him along the way. While they were doing the ropes course, my little girl did the Water Runner underneath and she loved it!
Next up was the Bungee Trampoline and mini golf! My daughter is fearless and she hasn’t found a bungee trampoline she doesn’t like.
I would say the alpine slide was a hit! So many of the kids could ride by themselves so they all went up together and all came down with smiles.
We couldn’t skip the zipline and it sure made this mommas heart beat fast because it was so high. They had to climb to the top of a building them they descended over the resort area. It looked like so much fun, I wish I would have done it.
My nephew Owen was the only brave one to do the gyro chair! He wasn’t scared a but though.
And how could I forget about the mechanical bull!?
What good memories we made this day. We will certainly be back!
