The older generation has always had a special place in my heart. I can still remember my grandmother and I going to visit our local nursing home. We would bring them little snacks or just visit with them for a while. When my grandmother and grandfather were alive, I used to help care for them and I spent a lot of time with them. They taught me so many valuable lessons in life that I could never repay them for.
Shopping can be stressful so it’s nice to have a one stop shop for things like prescription refills, free health screenings, and health-related products. This week I went to Sam’s Club to pick up some Poise® Pads – Maximum Absorbency (5 dot). Sam’s Club has so many great products for caregiving needs like Poise® Pads – Maximum Absorbency (5 dot), Depend® Fit-Flex® Underwear for men or women, and Poise® Liners – Light Absorbency (2 dot).
When you go to your club, you can find these items near the pharmacy.
I picked up some Poise Pads for a project I am working on for our local donation site for seniors. A few years back I donated some items when our town was affected by a fire so I now go to this site when I have extra items for seniors.
Poise Maximum Absorbency Pads provide a maximum amount of absorbency to give you the protection you need for your Light Bladder Leakage (LBL). Even though I am not a senior, I have used this product before since having 4 kids can really wreck your bladder. Their absorb-loc® core locks away wetness and odor, while the leak-block* sides provide discreet protection.
If you buy the Depends, when you open your Depend packaging and it will have a sticker inside that you can use to redeem at the pharmacy for an awesome caregiver sample kit! How awesome is that? I plan to do that the next time I visit. And when you download the Digimarc Discovery app, you can scan anywhere on the Depend packaging, and it will send you to the Sam’s Club Caregiver website.
For my easy DIY storage tutorial I made this super cute storage solution for your bathroom. I bought some storage bins and if you buy the ones that are lined you can either take out the liners for a more rustic look or leave them in. I am leaving them in so you can store your Poise Maximum Absorbency Pads more discretely.
First I started out with a sad and bare wall that needed some sprucing up!
Map out where you want to hang your bins on the wall. I just used a pencil.
Get a screw and screwdriver and screw the bins in the wall. Then fill them with your bathroom items.
I filled one with Poise Maximum Absorbency Pads. How cute is this? I have these storage bins in 2 of my bathrooms because it creates more storage.
You can also use these when gifting a box of Poise Maximum Absorbency Pads to someone you love. If my grandmother were still alive I would bring them these over to her house and install them myself.
