Steamboat Springs is one of my favorite places to go. We went there a couple times growing up and now that we live in Colorado we have been twice since we moved and I just fall in love with it more every time we visit. We visited there this summer and got to visit the Coca Cola Adventure Zone and the kids had a blast!
This little town is tucked in the Colorado mountains about an hour from Breckenridge. We did a 4 day stay this summer and never ran out of things to do. It’s a very family friendly town. We visited last year for our 10th anniversary so it has tons of things for couples as well. This town has so much to do in the summer and winter but today I am going to tell you about their super fun adventure park you can check out during the summer months.
And when you visit, there is a cute little creek that runs right through the area so if you get hot, you can stick your fit in for a while.
The Coca Cola Adventure Zone is open June 9 through August 21, August 27 – 28, September 3 – 5 (including Labor Day), then weekends (Saturday and Sunday) through September 25. On June 9, the Adventure Zone will be open from 3:00 to 7:00pm for the Routt County Riders Sponsorship Day.
It’s located right at the base of the mountain resort so it’s easy to find and you have incredible views to look out while enjoying the park.
The activities at the Adventure zone are: Slingshot’ Bungee Jump, Slingshot’ Bungee Jump, Children’s Mini-Bounce, Mechanical Bull, Ropes Course, Human Gyro, WaterWalkerz and Kids Mineral Panning. You can pay for each activity or get the multi ride pass.
While my older ones were doing all this fun stuff, my youngest and I took a ride up the gondola. It’s a very high ride so be prepared but you cannot get any better views. It was incredible!
We had such a fun time and can’t wait to go back next year.
