The holidays have me in a cooking mood. After thanksgiving last week, I am still dreaming about the food. If your like my family, you always have some leftover stuffing so I came up with the perfect recipe for leftover stuffing called Veggie Stuffing balls with MorningStar Farms® Grillers® Crumbles™. So if you want to bring an extra special dish to the holiday party you have coming up. 


For this recipe, I went shopping at Walmart to in search of some MorningStar Farms® Grillers® Crumbles™. I wanted another option for my stuffing this year other than a stuffing that included meat. The Griller Crumbles contain 75% less fat than regular ground beef, and have 9 grams of protein so they went perfect in this dish.


I found the Griller Crumbles in the frozen section. In my Walmart there was an entire section devoted to MorningStar Farms® so they were easy to find.

I have to say, this recipe isn’t just for the vegetarians or vegans out there, this recipe is so yummy but incredibly simple, everyone will ask for seconds. Plus they are served on these cute forks, so even the kids will want more! You have to “Taste It To Believe It”!

First you cook the Griller crumbles according to the package. It takes under 10 minutes which is awesome!


Next you want to mix your stuffing with your Griller Crumbles. You can either use 1 box of prepared stuffing (mine took 5 minutes to make) or just use leftover stuffing.


Mix together with 1/2 tsp salt, pepper to taste, 1/2 tsp minced garlic and 1/2 tsp cajun seasoning.

Next make the cranberry sauce!

IMG_4492 Here is my recipe below. It takes under 10 minutes to whip up!

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup honey 
  • 1 can cranberries sauce
  • pinch of cinnamon 

Put all ingredients into a sauce pan and simmer for 10 minutes.

Scoop the balls together with a cookie dough scooper. Stick a fork in the top and garnish with an optional piece of  celery. Pack some crispy onions onto the bottom of the balls. Top with some cranberry sauce. 


The great thing about this recipe is you can even freeze the stuffing balls ahead of time, get them out the day you want to use them, let them unfreeze and heat up and top with cranberry sauce.
