Most of the time the only thing you see on @instagram is the pretty but I wanted to post some #realstagram. These pictures were taken 12 hours apart. The first was right before my #explant surgery and the second was when i got home that day. The inflammation in my face was incredible but the only way to notice was when it was gone. Im so thankful for the calls, messages. I breezed through 4 c-sections so I figured this would be the same but it’s been way harder but just looking at this picture I know it’s worth it. #breastimplantillness
When we got married 12 years ago we said “for better and for worse” and after the past three years dealing with breast implant Illness we have found the worst. I’m so thankful for my husband and parents who have stuck beside me even when my anxiety didn’t make sense or when they have to carry the burden through the hardest of times. Today is breast implant Illness day so instead of dwelling over the hard times i want to be a voice to this illness that some doctors don’t even recognize. It’s real, it’s awful but thankful there is a cure.
Thank you for all the sweet comments, messages, food from @ashleycrews and a visit and goodie basket from @jobelynnand flowers from my dad @macandmaryand for my mom being my nurse.
