Cinnamon Pull Apart bread recipe

Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • ⅓ cup honey (bread does not need sugar, contrary to most store bought variety!) 2 tsp. salt
  • ½ cup flax seed (optional)
  • 1½ cup warm water
  • 4-5 cups flour
  • 1 T yeast
  • Filling:
  • 6 T of butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • Raisins are optional
  • Topping:
  • 1-2 T butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
Instructions
  1. Pour warm water, oil, honey or sugar is you prefer, and salt into a bowl.
  2. Pour about half of flour into bowl and mix.
  3. Add yeast and rest of flour and knead for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Put in a bowl with a warm towel of it and let rise until double, somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours (or longer if you want).
  5. Heat over to 375.
  6. Punch down dough and put on flour surface.
  7. Roll out into a big square.
  8. Mix together filling and spread out on dough. (you can add raisins of you want)
  9. Cut into small squares with a pizza cutter or dough scraper.
  10. Grease a Good Cook loaf pan and place squares in pan by stacking them one after another.
  11. Cook until brown on top around 15-20 minutes.
  12. While it's cooking make your icing.
  13. Melt butter and add vanilla, and powdered sugar.
  14. Add milk until consistnecy is right. If you have to add more sugar that's fine too just keep adding milk and sugar it's it's how you like it.
  15. Take bread out and top with icing!
