Shrimp Mac & Cheese with special secret ingredient!
  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • 1 stick butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar and montery jack)
  • cajun seasonings
  • 1 box shrimp
  • 2 cups Golden Girl Honey Granola
  • Italian seasoning
  1. Cook the pasta according to the box.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. Next make the roux. Melt the butter then add the flour and keeping stirring over medium heat.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until roux gets darker.
  5. Add the milk and keep cooking until thickened.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in cheese until melted.
  7. Cook your shrimp according to package.
  8. Stir in cooked pasta and cooked shrimp then transfer to a baking dish.
  9. Sprinkle a layer cajun seasoning then top with Golden Girl Granola and parmesan cheese.
